'Unity in Diversity' Fest!
As many of you would probably know, there will be a Multicultural Fest happening this Sunday organised by Ethnic Council Wellington Inc. Our awesomely talented dancers (and friends) from Bahtera Budaya are performing there to represent Malaysia, and there will also be Malaysian foodstalls and a kompang reception (thanks Affendi for the tip).

Venue : Wellington Town Hall
Time : Sunday 23 August 2009 (10am–4pm)
Fee : Entrance - door donation
Besides the Zapin & Joget dances by our friends, there will also be cultural performances like Batucada, Bollywood, Yosakoi Japan and African Drumming, as well as other cultural things like foods- and crafts-selling from a very diverse range of cultures.
So don't forget to drag your friends & loved ones and come support our dancers, let your 5 senses experience diversity! Let's mingle with people of various nationalities & backgrounds and celebrate the differences and similarities of being human. It's a chance not to be missed!
